Here's the calendar for August 2010. I know of a couple of people using these that have odd screen resolutions, so if I haven't uploaded one that fits your screen and you want one, just let me know in the comments and I'll throw one together. It only takes me about a minute.

I apologize for those of you using the 1600x1200 aspect ratio version—neither black nor white turned out to be a good choice all the way through for the calendar part due to the spots on the leopard. I tried to make it look readable at least throughout the whole thing but it's not exactly pretty.
Sorry it's so late. I was determined to have fireworks for the calendar, and it took me longer than I thought to find some and photograph them.
Anyway, you know the drill. Share with your friends or whoever.

Sorry for the late post this month. Here's the calendar. Feel free to distribute freely, as usual. Also, if you need an aspect ratio other than 4:3, I can do that no problem, just let me know in the comments.

Also, I think I turned the opacity on the calendar layer down a little more than I usually do. Sorry about that.
I was pretty happy with this photo, although maybe I should have switched the photos for April and May. At any rate, here's the calendar.

I already know of one person who uses this photo as their background, so I figured I would make it easy on him and throw in a calendar with the deal. Also, this picture suits April more than the weather today. We had a blizzard. Yeah, seriously.
I tried to do a shaped-bokeh technique so that the light filtering through the tree would look like shamrocks. It didn't really work. Kind of. But I still like this picture okay. It's only in 1600x1200 because I realized that's the same aspect ratio as almost any other monitor, so it should work for almost anyone.

For some reason, the picture doesn't seem to be working. I'll give it some time, but if it doesn't fix by the end of the day, I'll see what I can do.
Anyway, these images are rights-free so feel free to share them with whomever you want.

I read this great list on DPS today, and decided to take one of their suggestions: I'll be making a monthly calendar desktop for free download if anyone wants to use it. Whether or not anyone actually wants it, I still want to do it, so here's January's submission.
