All three of these have been posted on my blog, with the exception of the second one. My original method of post-processing removed a lot of the saturation, which gave me the result in this post, but the rules of the museum contest state that "no digital alteration is allowed on images, beyond standard optimization."
So if you have a preference, please help me choose which one to submit! Thanks.
My vote is for number 3. I like the subject and the composition of the first one, but it seems a little over exposed on the left part of the photo.
ReplyDeleteIt was a tough choice between the next two, but I think the water droplet with the reflection is a nice addition to push it just over the second one.
Good Luck in the competition.
I am a sucker for waterfalls, and love to shoot them. I run into the same problem with over-exposure on a longer shutter speeds to get the flowing effect. I think the photo is gorgeous. I think they are all worthy of a nature themed contest, but I will have to go with number three as well.
ReplyDeleteOh , I'd have to say #1 but #3 comes in very close. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteI also vote for #3. The waterfall is nice, but I imagine the judges might see a lot of waterfalls, so I think #3 would stand out more.
